Samskara (Impression)

viji-2010-w200

If you think a thought – whatever the world may think of it, you may think even a good thought as the world thinks about it, or a bad thought as the world thinks about – if it is going to leave an impression in your mind and that becomes a samskara; you have to come here again to work it off.

Saint - free from the effect of the different colours of the world

002 JenKoganPhotography untitled-53

A saint or a Mahatma is not in any way different from an ordinary worldly man, except that his mind and senses are in a well-disciplined state and wholly under his control. He remains free from the effect of the different hues and colours of the world and remains ever merged in his own, the one colourlessness. He attains a state of contentment and settledness...

Virtue - benefited by happiness

Tedd Surman - Yoga and Ayurveda Maui

If you are virtuous, persons around you are bound to be benefited by happiness. This world can be compared to our body. If any organ (part) is diseased, the whole body is affected. Therefore, good people always keep themselves away from sin and engage themselves in right action. This is a simple truth.

Our Mission - to serve human beings

viji-2010-w200

Surrender must develop automatically within you

viji-2010-w200

The easiest and surest means to achieve the goal is to surrender yourself to the great Master and become a 'living dead' yourself. This feeling of surrender, if cultivated by forced or mechanical means, seldom proves to be genuine. It must develop automatically within you, without least strain or pressure upon the mind. If the knowledge of self is retained, even then it is not true surrender.

Dharma - good intention and then act

buddha-face-1310-02-w100

The remedy to save oneself from this [the idea of freedom and bondage] is to convert evil intention into good intention and then act. Serving the fellow beings of the world in the light of this experience, without any selfish motive, is the best kind of sacrifice and worship. One who acts in such a way will be free from the bondage of karma (action). Such action is the nature...

Old Age - feel always young

viji-2010-w200

Spirit is never old; hence, spirituality is not affected in the least by old age. Spiritually a man feels himself always young, at all stages of human life. It is therefore never too late to attain anything in the spiritual field.

Two Enemies of human life

ted-surman-1310-01

According to the Shastras [ancient books of wisdom] the two main enemies of human life are supposed to be ignorance and laziness. Because through ignorance we avoid the good; through ignorance of consequences we accept the evil. Through laziness we are not able to change ourselves.
