Training Overview
YOGA TEACHER PRACTICUM LEVEL 2 training is for 20 half days with a total of 100 hours of in-person studio training. On successful completion you will receive a Yoga Awareness certification.

LEARN: Develop your professional skills as a Yoga Teacher with the authentic teachings of Raja Yoga by Patanjali as taught through the Krishnamacharya-Desikachar lineage.

CURRICULUM: Chanting practice, Yoga Teaching theory, Verbal Yoga teaching instruction, Asana sequence drawing, Student Yoga teaching practice, Anatomy and Physiology.

Training Format
IN-PERSON STUDIO OR ONLINE ZOOM-LIVE
20 HALF DAYS (5 hours per day)

DAY 1 - 3
Opening and introduction • Chanting Yoga Sutra-s • Yoga Teaching theory • Verbal teaching instructions • Student asana teaching practice.

DAY 5 - 7
Chanting Yoga Sutra-s • Pranayama practice • Pranayama methodology • Student pranayama teaching practice.

DAY 9 - 11
Chanting Yoga Sutra-s • Pranayama practice • Pranayama methodology • Student pranayama teaching practice.

DAY 10 - 11
Chanting Yoga Sutra-s • Diagnosis a person & Health assessment • Frequently asked Health questions • Asana and pranayama sequencing methodology • Design mini-vinyasa sequences • Student teaching mini-vinyasa practice.

DAY 12
Anatomy & Physiology - Nervous systems.

DAY 16
Anatomy & Physiology - Abdominal Organs systems.

DAY 17 - 19
Chanting Yoga Sutra-s • Diagnosis a person & Health assessment • Frequently asked Health questions • Asana and pranayama sequencing methodology • Design maha-vinyasa sequences • Student teaching maha-vinyasa practice.

HOME TRAINING (optional extra cost)
YOGA TEACHER WRITTEN CRITIQUE
The purpose of this home training is to help you develop your Yoga Teaching sadhana. Choose and complete one of the ‘maha-vinyasa’ sequences that you practiced during your Yoga Teacher Practicum. Draw and submit a report of your written verbal asana instructions. Your class sequence will be critiqued by a Yoga Awareness teacher and comments will be made on your report and PDF emailed for your review. PRICE: 1x (90 mins) critique + worksheets $150

Training Certification
On completion of your training you will receive the Yoga Awareness certification. Your training hours can be credited to the Yoga Alliance RYT500 registration.
