We are conveniently located in the historic business district of Downtown Honolulu and Chinatown on 16 Merchant Street, between Nuuanu and Bethel. Close to the Aloha Tower waterfront this is a small and peaceful street with Cole Academy and Murphy's Bar & Grill adjacent to us. For those that are living the busy Downtown Honolulu lifestyle you can find peace and serenity in our yoga class. Come in and clear your mind of your daily work tasks while stretching your body and calming your soul. And it is a perfect choice to get away from it all.

The group yoga class comprises of asana (body) technique with breath and movement coordination, finishing with pranayama (breath) and meditation (mind). Group classes allow you to develop a consistent practice with your sanga (community) of local Downtown Honolulu and Chinatown residents.

ABOUT THE CLASS
•  All levels are welcome and each yoga class is sequenced for the level and ability of the students.
•  Instruction in both English and Japanese, when helpful.
•  Classes focus on freeing up tension in the body, re-energizing and relaxing body and mind that will leave you feeling amazing! This yoga class is perfect for everyone!

MEETUP
Class Times: TUE and THU @ 9am, SUN @ 9:30am, WED @ 5:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Duration: 90 minutes per class.

PARKING
Weekdays: Free validated parking at Harbor Court Parking (Bethel St).
Sunday & Public Holidays: Free all-day street parking.

CLASS RATES
We offer different levels of Yoga classes which are determined by teacher certification from Yoga Awareness (YAT 300, 600, 900, 1200) and Yoga Alliance (RYT 200, RYT 500).

Please bring your own yoga mat. Rental yoga mats available $2 per class. Yoga mats for sale $45. Bring water, a smile and your friends or family :)

TEACHERS
Tedd Surman and Masumi Muramatsu are certified Yoga Awareness Hawaii yoga teachers and teaches authentic Raja Yoga from the Krishnamacharya-Desikachar yoga lineage. We emphasize the importance on breath-based method in each class to energize your body using core and at the same time brings you inner stillness. This knowledge of yoga and sequencing makes for both a strengthening and therapeutic yoga class. The vinyasa-s are safe for our body and help ease your stiffness and pain.

A rejuvenating Yoga class helps both beginner and advanced students have a greater understanding of spinal alignment and correct posture. It also establishes a student and teacher relationship with the teachings of Raja Yoga. The benefits of a consistent yoga practice are numerous and can include increased flexibility, increased muscle strength, weight loss, cardiovascular and respiratory health and improved sleep and energy throughout the day. In addition, yoga helps foster a sense of inner peace, mental straight, and increased self confidence.
