Training Overview YOGA INNER STRENGTH Level 3 training is for 10 half days with a total of 50 hours of in-person studio or online zoom training, plus 9 Video Yoga Classes for home practice. On successful completion you will receive a Yoga Awareness certification.
LEARN: Strengthen and straighten your spine with vinyasa krama-s, deep back-arches and inversions. The spine is the core of our being which moves pranic energy and is the conductor of our nerve impulses. A healthy spine, and muscles which support the spine, will allow your life-force to flow unrestricted through the bandha-s and chakra-s. We learn and practice daily vinyasa-s (sequenced asana-s) to prepare the body and mind for back-arches and inversions. There are many variations which can be substituted if you are unable to do an asana.
CURRICULUM: Daily Asana practice followed by Asana theory and demonstration, Pranayama breath introduction, Chanting practice, Meditation practice.

DAY 1 - 5 Opening and introduction • Chanting • Review training Q&A • Asana clinic • Reinforce asana principles • Asana theory & demonstration • Asana practice with standing / kneeling Vinyasa variations, supine Back Arches, standing Laterals, supine Shoulder-Stand inversion variations.
DAY 6 - 10 Chanting • Review training Q&A • Asana clinic • Reinforce asana principles • Asana theory & demonstration • Asana practice with Headstand inversions, abdominal strengthening Forward-Bends, kneeling / seated Back Arches, seated Arm Balance variations • Closing ceremony.
HOME TRAINING (optional extra cost) 4 WEEKS YOGA SADHANA PRACTICE The purpose of the home training is to develop your Yoga sadhana, which is a tapas to understand and experience the effects that Yoga has on your system. Schedule a private session with a Yoga Awareness teacher, either online or in-person. Afterwards we email a detailed sequence drawing for you to practice daily at home and at the end of each week submit a weekly sadhana report for 4 continuous weeks. Training Certification On completion of your training you will receive the Yoga Awareness Level 3 certification. Your training hours can be credited to Yoga Awareness YAT500 Yoga Teacher certification and Yoga Alliance RYT500 registration.
