Training Overview
AYURVEDA HEALTHCARE Level 4 Practicum is for 10 half days with a total of 50 hours of in-person studio training. On successful completion you will receive a Yoga Awareness certification.

LEARN: This practicum is to develop your skills as an Ayurvedic practitioner. There are two ways to understanding Ayurveda, to give and to receive. Giving the Wellness Programs to people with Tedd Surman will develop your clinical skills and techniques daily. You will practice treatment procedures at an Ayurvedic clinic. Then receiving daily treatments will continue to enhance your personal experience and give you a holistic understanding of caring for people using the profound methods of Ayurveda treatments.

CURRICULUM: Every day is a combination of learning the ancient methods of giving Ayurveda treatments and for you to experience receiving Ayurveda treatments. Planning Wellness programs, daily Ayurveda assessments, treatment room procedures and protocols are included in the practicum.

Training Format
IN-PERSON STUDIO TRAINING ONLY
10 HALF DAYS (5 hours per day)

DAY 1 -10
Giving and receiving Ayurveda treatments (Abhyanga, Svedhana, Purvakarma, Panchakarma) for 10 half days.

Giving Treatments: You will work directly with Tedd Surman to develop your Ayurveda skills to a high level of competency. Each day is a practical application of Ayurveda diagnostic consultation, Abhyanga (oil bath) and Svedhana (heat) treatments. 'Wellness Programs' are developed throughout this practicum with Purvakarma, which is the external preparation of people for Panchakarma. Then some of the five internal therapies of Panchakarma procedures may be applied if required.

Receiving Treatments: You will begin with a diagnostic consultation by Tedd Surman. During your entire program there will be follow-up consultations. Receive an Abhyanga (oil bath) and Svedhana (heat) treatment daily, and Purvakarma and Panchakarma therapies if required (optional extra). You will gain an insight of feeling the effects of receiving treatments. The is an individualized therapy program and structured to meet your personal needs. It will also be of great support to your health and well-being while you are doing the training.

HOME TRAINING (optional extra cost)
AYURVEDA PRACTICUM SUPPORT
The purpose of this home training is to support and develop your Ayurveda Practicum practice. Send a case study report for one person of your 10 day treatment program. Then schedule an online private with a Yoga Awareness teacher for discussion and suggested Ayurveda program recommendations. PRICE: 2x (45 mins) private sessions + worksheets $150
