The Yoga Ayurveda Wellness Retreat is a complete Wellness program of Yoga, Ayurveda and Food Diet. The retreats takes place at our Hawaii studio in Downtown Honolulu, only minutes from the beautiful Ala Moana and Waikiki beach parks.

Part of the Wellness Retreat is a daily Yoga practice in a group or individually, as well as an excellent combination of Ayurvedic treatments and Ayurvedic food disciplines. Like brother and sister, Yoga and Ayurveda are inseparable. We witness the benefits ten times greater when applying these ancient Vedic healing modalities together. It's like working with two hands rather than just one.

VPK BALANCE WELLNESS RETREAT

YOGA CLASS - Group (90 minutes per class)
YOGA CLASS - Private (30 minutes per class)
YOGA is achieving a 'stable mind and healthy body' by balancing the Guna-s (sattva, rajas, tamas). A daily group or private Yoga Class focuses on asana (body strengthening and therapy), pranayama (breathing techniques), pratyahara (mastering sense organs) and dhyanam (stillness of mind and meditation). INCLUDED: You can choose either a group Yoga class or a private Yoga class.

ASSESSMENT - (5 minutes per treatment)
The Ayurveda assessment prior to the beginning of each treatment  help us to access any changes during your retreat.

AYURVEDA TREATMENT - VPK Balance (30 minutes per treatment)
AYURVEDA is achieving a 'healthy body and a stable mind' by balancing the Dosha-s (vata, pitta, kapha). The VPK Balance treatment is an simplified and no-fuss oil bath only to your head, arms and hands, legs and feet. We apply medicated oils which balances your dosha-s (vata, pitta, kapha) by feeding you through your skin, which is your largest orgin of the body. A regular wellness program will nourish you, giving a feeling of stability, protection and wellness. This treatment restores natural luster and beauty of aging, and reduces ama (toxin) from our environment. INCLUDED: Shower, towel & soap after each treatment.

FOOD DIET - Ayurveda kitcheri (30 minutes lunch)
FOOD DIET is daily discipline of freshly cooked Ayurveda kitcheri, served daily after each Wellness session or you can take home for an evening meal. The simple importance of creating a daily food diet during your Wellness Retreat will establish new samskara-s (healthy patterns of eating). It also stabilizes your apana (stomach region) which is the platform required for us to achieve balanced transformation.

ABHYANGA Wellness Retreat ~ 6 Days +

ABHYANGA WELLNESS RETREAT
6 DAYS $1,200 (extra days add $200 per day) + tax

CONSULTATION ~ One time prior start of Wellness Retreat (30 minutes)
The Ayurveda consultation is to determine your prakrtti (natural constitution) and your vrkritti (disturburbed constitution). This is revealed by completing an in-depth questioning of your personal patterns in life and then accessing your dosa balance through reading the nadi pulse. After collecting this vital information the Practitioner can advise you on which course of action is best suited to your needs. The four pillars of Ayurveda are food, lifestyle, sleep and relationship. A well balanced Ayurveda and Yoga program will help you achieve this in your life.

YOGA CLASS - Group (90 minutes per class)
YOGA CLASS - Private (30 minutes per class)
YOGA is achieving a 'stable mind and healthy body' by balancing the Guna-s (sattva, rajas, tamas). AYURVEDA TREATMENT - Abhyanga (2 hours per treatment)
AYURVEDA is achieving a 'healthy body and a stable mind' by balancing the Dosha-s (vata, pitta, kapha). The Abhyanga treatment is a full body oil bath of medicated oils which balances your dosha-s, bringing them back into their rightful place. This purifies and strengthens your system so that 75% of your health issues reduce. Regular Abhyanga treatments balance a person holistically so that you can enjoy a natural and healthy life. INCLUDED: Consultation (15 minutes) prior to each treatment and shower, towel & soap after each treatment.

The Purvakarma program consists of an abhyanga treatment, which is a full body oil bath of medicated oils, combined with a svedhana (heat) treatment to specific areas. The Purvakama program stabilizes and strengthens your system. It also prepares you for Panchakarma if required. INCLUDED: Consultation (15 minutes) prior to each treatment and shower, towel, soap after each treatment.

AYURVEDA TREATMENT - Panchakarma (2.5 hours per treatment)
AYURVEDA is achieving a 'healthy body and a stable mind' by balancing the Dosha-s (vata, pitta, kapha). The Panchakarma program is an internal purification program for more acute and chronic health issues. Preparation is a series of Purvakarma treatments, then depending on your specific needs we apply, for a limited series, one of the five purification methods (nyasam, vamana, vasti, virecana, rakta mokshanam), then complete with Purvakarma to balance your system. INCLUDED: Consultation (15 minutes) prior to each treatment and shower, towel, soap after each treatment.
