Training Overview

Yoga Awareness AYURVEDA TRAINING TREATMENTS PRACTICUM YAT 400 are three trainings for 6 days / 60 hours each at the Yoga Awareness studio in Honolulu, Oahu.

Only from a well-established foundation can a high caliber of Ayurveda practitioner develop. This is a life commitment which will increase your 'self' awareness and personal growth. It grooms you to share the ancient Ayurvedic teachings of the Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hydryam.

PRE-REQUISITE: The pre-requisite for this training is the successful completion of all three Yoga Awareness AYURVEDA THERAPY TRAINING - YAT 60 trainings (Mula, Nidana, Kalpa) and have previously experienced a WELLNESS PROGAM of six purvakarma treatments with Yoga Awareness.

NOT INCLUDED: This is a non-residential training, ie. travel, accommodation, food (except for daily Ayurveda lunches during the training) and transport are not included. Also Wellness Program (6 purvakarma treatments) are not included.

SVEDHANA + ABHYANGA Treatments - 1 week / 60 hours

This training is to develop your professional skills as an Ayurvedic Therapist. The internship is for students wanting to practice Ayurveda professionally. This is a hands on training with a Yoga Awareness Ayurveda trainer teaching you the practical application of Ayurveda diagnostic consultation, Abhyanga (oil bath) and Svedhana (heat) treatments. Business practices, client liaison, treatment room procedures and protocols are also included in the internship.

TRAINING 2 - PURVAKARMA Treatments - 1 week / 60 hours

This training is to develop your professional skills as a Ayurvedic Therapist. This is a hands on training with a Yoga Awareness Ayurveda trainer teaching you the practical application of Ayurveda diagnostic consultation, Purvakarma WELLNESS programs which are external preparation therapies for Panchakarma. Business practices, client liaison, treatment room procedures and protocols are also included in the internship.

This training is to develop your professional skills as an Ayurvedic Therapist. This is a hands on training with a Yoga Awareness Ayurveda trainer with advanced Ayurveda diagnostic consultation, Panchakarma programs which are the five internal therapies. Business practices, client liaison, treatment room procedures and protocols are also included in the internship.
