Training Overview
YOGA IMMERSION is a Yoga Awareness Certified Training. This training consists of 50 hours total, which is 7 half days studio training and 4 weeks home training with 1 private session (1 hour). An Ayurveda kitcheri lunch is included with every day of studio training.

LEARN: The technical principles of Yoga (siksana) and the therapeutic applications (cikitsa) to develop an intelligent asana practice for your body ! We focus on KRIYA YOGA and the Indian philosophy of 'attention and ease', which is fundamental to a healthy and balanced Yoga practice.

CURRICULUM: Daily Asana practice followed by Asana theory and demonstration, Pranayama breath introduction, Chanting practice, Meditation practice.

DAY 1 @ 2pm - 4:30pm
Opening and introduction.

DAY 2 @ 9am - 2pm
Overview of Yoga, types of teachers and styles • Describe / define asana • Rules of practice • Asana practice with IN and EX in asana.

DAY 3 @ 9am - 2pm
Describe Kriya Yoga (3 parts), Ashtanga (8 parts) and purpose of Yoga • Distinguish difference between Western and Eastern Ashtanga • Breath & Movement Coordination • Asana practice with BMC awareness.

DAY 4 @ 9am - 2pm
Styles of Yoga and confusion of clubs • Purpose of Ashtanga • Definition of asana • Asana practice using advantages of sthiti.

DAY 5 @ 9am - 2pm
Raja Yoga and Krishamacharya lineage of teachers • Sthiram & Sukham • Bhavana • Siksana, Cikitsa, Raksana • Asana practice of finding Patanjali in asana.

DAY 6 @ 9am - 2pm
Classification of asana, ways to move spine • Identifying imbalances to increase flexibility or strengthen • Asana practice with asymmetrical verses symmetrical.

DAY 7 @ 9am - 2pm
Review training Q&A • Establishing a sadhana (daily personal practice) • Practice sadhana • Asana practice to prepare for exam • Evaluation exam & review • Closing ceremony.

HOME TRAINING (optional)
4 WEEKS + 1 PRIVATE SESSION (1 HOUR)

Practice at home for 4 weeks observing your Yoga sadhana in daily life. Send a report each week and then schedule one online private of 1 hour with a Yoga Awareness teacher for discussion and suggested recommendations. The private sessions can be done at home online with Skype, FaceTime, FaceBook, Line or at a Yoga Awareness studio.

Training Certification
On completion of your studio training you will receive the Yoga Awareness ‘certification of participation’. Your home training is included but is optional to complete.

These studio and home training hours can be credited to the Yoga Awareness Teacher Training certification and the Yoga Alliance registration.

Training Overview
YOGA IN-DEPTH is a Yoga Awareness Certified Training. This training consists of 50 hours total, which is 7 half days studio training and 4 weeks home training with 1 private session (1 hour). An Ayurveda kitcheri lunch is included with every day of studio training.

LEARN: We explore the relationship of our body, breath and mind by studying the authentic Vedic teaching of Raja Yoga by Patanjali as taught through the Krishnamacharya-Desikachar lineage. It strengthens sadhana, which is your yoga practice and how you apply it in daily life. This gradual process transforms the knowledge that you gained from the previous training into a greater understanding and knowing of our 'true' self. Those wishing to participate must have the willingness to learn, practice and change.

Benefits of asana • Understanding Bandha-s (prana energy locks) • Asana practice with BMC (kumbhaka).

DAY 6 @ 9am - 2pm
Siksana verses Cikitsa • Dynamic verses Static • Asana practice with asana-s of repetition and stay.

DAY 7 @ 9am - 2pm
Review training Q&A • Student home sadhana (daily personal practice) • Asana practice to prepare for exam • Evaluation exam & review • Closing ceremony.

Training Overview
YOGA MINDFULNESS is a Yoga Awareness Certified Training. This training consists of 100 hours total, which is 14 half days studio training and 8 weeks home training with 2 private sessions (1 hour each). An Ayurveda kitcheri lunch is included with every day of studio training.

LEARN: Referenced from the second chapter of the Patanjali Yoga Sutra-s you will gain a theoretical and experiential understanding of SADHANA (how to practice). The three methods you study are Kriya Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Samkhya Yoga. The training focuses on 'right action and attitude' of your Yoga practice and in normal daily life. These teachings increase clarity, giving you the insights to recognize and minimize future suffering, ultimately making your self journey more peaceful and fulfilling.

CURRICULUM: Daily Yoga Sutra study, Chanting study and practice, Dhyanam meditation theory, Purvangam practice (Asana, Pranayama, Pratyhara, Dharana), and Ayurveda theory.

HOME TRAINING
12 WEEKS + PRIVATES 6 HOURS (4 @ 1.5 HR)

Complete your home training within 12 weeks by submitting 4 class sequences (90 minutes each) with written verbal asana teaching instructions. Each class sequence will be critiqued by a Yoga Awareness teacher and their comments returned for your review.

Training Certification
On successful completion you will receive the Yoga Awareness YOGA TEACHER TRAINING YAT300 certification. These training hours can be credited to the Yoga Alliance RYT200 registration.

Training Overview
YOGA CORE POWER is a Yoga Awareness Certified Training. This training consists of 100 hours total, which is 14 half days studio training and 8 weeks home training with 2 private sessions (1 hour each). An Ayurveda kitcheri lunch is included with every day of studio training.

LEARN: Increase your core power and commitment to a daily yoga practice (sadhana) with ASHTANGA YOGA, which is the eight-fold path of purification and enlightenment. You will gain an understanding of these methods to develop peacefulness and contentment within society and yourself, benefiting with a healthier body, increased life-force and control of your senses which naturally brings the mind to a state of fitness and readiness for meditation.

CURRICULUM: Daily Asana practice followed by Asana theory and demonstration, Pranayama breath introduction, Chanting practice, Meditation practice.
